I understand your pain one of my children has allergies to preservatives. Her entire health was effected and very hard to figure out. I promise you though there are great doctors out their you just need to find the right one for your situation. I had a dr that really harmed my child by not treating her properly which was very frustrating because we have many drs in the family. Then we found the most amazing pediatrician during an emergency and he saved my daughters life. Ask everyone you know about their dr you will find a good one. Best of luck with Will's health.

My son (who's 5) has had food allergies since he was about 2. It's tough to deal with all the what ifs, and not being able to control absolutely everything. We just take all the precautions we can and keep a close eye on it. (Like I'm sure you do.)Good luck!

OH I feel your pain. I was diagnosed at 27 with allergies to dairy and eggs and gluten. After suffering for 2 years with an Inflammatory Bowel Disease (which I still have) that I think was triggered my massive love for all things cheese and bread. But I digress.I mentioned my allergies to my doctor who suggested I get a flu shot (I'm on immunosuppressants for my disease) and she said no, avoid it. But I also know that many people with egg allergies can tolerate them when diluted in things like cakes or muffins.... So maybe that's why Will is ok?I don't react with any "life-threatening" symptoms either. Just horrible gut reactions and lingering joint aches and headaches for about a week... Maybe Will had some sort of lesser reaction in the past and you didn't make the connection? I guess I've realized allergic reactions are far more broad and varied than stuffy noses, swelling throats, and rashes....These days I worry about my own daughters' future with allergies! Here's to Will's health!
