Catch me if you can…

I’m all over the place this week…

And it’s only Tuesday…

I started the week off right by falling off of my bike — landing on my face, rolling over and looking up at the sky… Birds flying overhead, the almost 3 year old suggested that I needed a helmet. Then he called the police and insisted on having a moving violation ordered by way of citation. I blatantly lied and said I wasn’t on my cellphone at the time of the accident, but the soon to not be 2 anymore rolled his eyes and suggested that a breathalyzer might be appropriate. But it doesn’t even start there.. Today I woke up over at Elly’s Blog — and when I realized that I wasn’t dreaming… she replied by complementing my legs and grammar (!$?)… So, without hesitation I whipped out my best spatula for a little Corn Bread action. Things are getting weird and I have Kevin Bacon on the brain. Did I mention… It’s only Tuesday?

Hey Kids–Here’some corn, go get lost…

Hank has returned to his Water Mill field for the annual Pumpkintown celebration. Kids, wear your sneaks, puffy vests and sunscreen (for the nose). Parents, be prepared to stand around while your Golden Pear purchases make you vibrate. Passers by, be prepared to sit still among pumpkin rubberneckers taking in the scene. Our son Will is not yet old enough to enjoy Pumpkintown, but we are rather intrigued….

This year Hank returns with his Maze of Maize. This idea a–mazes me… I’m sure it’s fun… but as a product of the ’80′s (aka warped mind) and not originally from an area that celebrates dried stalks…  I can’t help but get thrown back to a more simpler time when….. we avoided the corn.

In other news…
The Town of Southampton Rocks, but that doesn’t reall mean anything (Read More…), and a Designer’s procrastination… The Pattern Foundry.
